In case you missed it, we hosted the Savannah Space Street Fair on the 6th of April at The Node, Westlands.
The fair was a glorious day of fun, food and furniture where we had 35 vendors selling furniture and home decor. We were incredibly proud to show off what the Kenyan scene has to offer in terms of things people can use to revamp their homes.
We're also super happy that some of our vendors completely sold out their products! Talk about success.
Although the fair was focused on furniture and home decor, we had to keep our crowd (of quite a lot of people we should add) well fed and happy. The Node was nice enough to offer all day happy hour and pizza deals for all the lovely people who came!
Whats a fair without music? We wouldn't know. We were lucky enough to have sensational sounds from the Ghetto Classics orchestra (thank you Safaricom for blessing us with these musical geniuses) and a debut performance by Doris Kebati, an upcoming musician in the Nairobi scene.
For those who came, thank you so much we hope it was as amazing for you as it was for us. For those who missed it, there will be many more to come! We would also like to thank our event sponsors HEVA Fund, Optiven Limited and Safaricom PLC as well as our media partners Lit 360 and Capital Fm for keeping us covered (speaking of, check out our feature in Capital Lifestyle).
Thank you all for the memories! Here's to many more!
