What is Savannah Space?

Savannah Space is a multi-vendor platform where you can buy furniture and home decor items made in Kenya (with a few exceptions of products from other African countries). We work with local vendors and artisans to bring you the best of furniture and home decor.

When are your hours of operation?

Savannah Space operates every weekday (except public holidays) from 9 am - 5 pm. Our individual vendors each have their working hours however these generally range from 9 am - 5 pm on weekdays and 9 am - 12 pm on Saturdays.

How are products priced?

The prices of products on Savannah Space are set by the individual vendors and are non-negotiable. Savannah Space retains a percentage of each order made. For some orders, a downpayment is required in order to cover the cost of the materials use; this will be determined by each vendor.

How do I create an account?

Once you enter our website, you can create an account by clicking the animated logo at the top right of the homepage. Alternatively, when you complete your first order, you will be required to create an account. You will need a valid email address, phone number and password to create an account.

Ordering a product

Can I get a custom made product?

Some of our vendors do make custom made orders. This depends on what the product is. Each vendor will set their own terms, prices, and timelines for custom orders.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Delivery times depend on the product and vendor selling the product. Please review our shipping policy for more information.

I got the wrong order.

Please email support@savannahspace.com with your order confirmation number and we will rectify the issue.

A vendor canceled my order.

We are sorry to hear this. At Savannah Space, we try to make sure all orders are fulfilled by vendors. If a vendor cancels your order, we will begin the process of finding you another vendor who can make your order at the same price. No fees will be incurred if a vendor cancels your order.

Payment

How do I make payments?

The payment process is handled solely by Savannah Space once an order has been made. You will be guided on how to make payments during order checkout.

No cash transactions will be made for your orders. For custom orders or orders that need a downpayment, once your order has been made and is ready, you will receive an invoice to pay the outstanding balance. No deliveries will be made without the outstanding balance paid. Payments can be made via credit/debit card or Mpesa.

What about VAT?

Savannah Space is required to pay 16% VAT on the sale of all products on our platform. Once payments on orders have been processed, you will receive an e-receipt confirming the exact amount of VAT paid. If you require a VAT table receipt please email support@savannahspace.com and we will process one for you.

Is there a point system?

Savannah Space offers customers points for purchases on some orders, referring friends and during special promotions and campaigns. These points can be used to get discounts on products.
